Free legal advice clinic in Chelmsford based at Chelmsford Citizens Advice. The Chelmsford Law Clinic aims to provide free, independent, confidential and impartial legal advice to everyone and offers specialist legal advice in nine areas of law, Civil Law Matters, Clinical Negligence, Contentious Trusts, Wills and Probate, Court of Protection, Criminal Defence, Employment, Family, Housing, and Personal Injury Law by our pro bono solicitors and barristers.
The Chelmsford Law Clinic aims to provide free, independent, confidential and impartial legal advice to everyone within the community and surrounding areas of Chelmsford.Founded as a fortnightly service based in the Civic Centre in Duke Street, Chelmsford run by a single volunteer for Family Law. Chelmsford Law Clinic was launched on 26 January 2018 by Vicky Ford (Chelmsford MP) and offers specialist legal advice in eight areas of law, by our pro bono solicitors and barristers.

Who can use this service?
Anyone needing support with the nine areas of law can request a 30 minute free legal appointment. Get in contact with our coordinator on our website to see if a free 30-minute appointment can be arranged. Alternatively, speak to someone at Citizens Advice (03444 111 444) to see whether a Law Clinic appointment is appropriate.
