Headway Essex Support Groups
As a charity, our mission is to ensure that everyone in Essex living with an acquired brain injury can live a fulfilling life and that families and carers are better able to cope within their caring roles. Many people who have a brain injury find our support group meetings very beneficial. The groups provide you with an opportunity to meet others who have a brain injury, to share information and to hear from experts in brain injury care and rehabilitation. We also have day centres in Colchester and Benfleet .
Please note we cannot support those with degenerative conditions, active addictions, or severe mental health difficulties. We will need a referral form completed and evidence of brain injury is required.

How are services delivered?
There is a charge of £2.50 per person or £5 per family for each of our support group meetings.
Currently, we have four support groups across Essex that meet each month in easily accessible and relaxed community settings.
